Still Alive

Published October 25, 2017 by K. Leigh

Hello,

You might have noticed that I have not posted since day 18 of the October Writing Challenge. That was due to working and being in a wedding. It was my very dear friend, and fellow blogger, Jess’ wedding. You can visit her page here.

Day 18 was the bachelorette party and I did post afterwards.

Day 19  was “Let’s see how much of the house I can clean and sanitize before people come over.” Cym and I were both in the wedding and she was sleeping over because the wedding was in the early after noon and she would have to get up while it was still dark to make it to the wedding. Then it was off to the rehearsal, setting up for the wedding, and then rehearsal dinner.  Read the rest of this entry →

OWC – Day 14

Published October 15, 2017 by K. Leigh

Hello,

Big changes may be happening. I hope so. Whoever is reading this post, if you could cross your fingers for me that would be much appreciated. I really need this break in my life.

Last night my fiance and I stayed up talking about my dreams and hopes. He is very supportive and I am so thankful I have someone like him by my side. He listened to me, gave me ideas, and agreed to help keep me focused (which I’m really bad at). I told him my plans in detail so he could keep me on track, because he knows the track I want to be on.

For instance, I want to write this post, but he’s watching YouTube videos about video games and it’s so hard not to stop what I’m doing and watch, too. The only other room I can go into to have peace and quiet is poorly lit. However, soon, I will have a desk chair again and can use that to write! I will lock everyone out of that room while I am using it. I am looking forward to that more than you can imagine.

OWC – Day 13

Published October 13, 2017 by K. Leigh

Hello,

It’s Friday the 13th and it’s in October!!!! YAY! I have some errands and chores to do today so I wanted to get this post done before I do them. Since later I will be with friends and family watching Lore on Amazon Prime. It is based off of Aaron Mahnke’s podcast by the same name. Go check it out if you haven’t already. It’s spooky, which is great for October, and his voice is perfect for what he talks about.

OWC – Day 8

Published October 9, 2017 by K. Leigh

Hello,

It’s close to midnight and I don’t feel like writing. I had a good day with friends (one of them being my best friend), then had a family movie night, which was unexpected, and now I am just so very tired.

Tomorrow is the last day of my vacation and I am looking forward to spending it with another one of my best friends. I am just going to jump into this and then go to bed.

OWC – Day 6

Published October 7, 2017 by K. Leigh

Hello,

I am posting very late. I was plagued with a migraine earlier. Later we went out for my mother in law’s birthday and then went back to her house to decorate for Halloween, where I was in charge of baking cookies while her and her best friend decorated.

I have a busy day ahead of me tomorrow, but I will try to post in the afternoon before I get distracted.

OWC – Day 5

Published October 6, 2017 by K. Leigh

Hello,

It’s Day 5. I see that I don’t have many views on my blog posts, and that’s ok. I am not bothered, because I am doing this for me. I am trying to get into a rhythm of writing. So I will continue on.

Day 5 is “A Habit You Wish You Didn’t Have.”

There are quite a few habits I wish I didn’t have, but I will go with only two. Read the rest of this entry →

OWC – Day 4

Published October 5, 2017 by K. Leigh

Hello!

Today, I really didn’t feel like writing this post. Not because I didn’t want to write, but because I don’t really care for the topic.

Day 4 is “A Controversial View You Have.” I really don’t like discussing religion or politics, and most of the controversial views I have are only told to friends. So I am going to keep it basic. Literally. Read the rest of this entry →
